Since garage sale shopping is a treat for most, it is no wonder that you see so many families snooping around when there is one in their neighborhood. Dont put big stuff on your yard. You want to sell the items that are always in your way or items that take to much space in your cupboards. Ask yourself, do you really need 12 glasses? Chances are, you have a restrained area so go easy on big items. If you do want to sell big items, mention to your clients that you do have them for sale but are not on display for lack of space. Try your attic. Chances are you will not remember the stuff you have there in the first place. Sell those items at a low price.
One final tip is that can be offered is not to mix them items that you want to sell. Cookware does not look good with clothes or childrens toys.
