Saturday April 28, 2012 NEAL P. GOSWAMI Staff Writer BENNINGTON -- Bennington police officers on the department's special response team have begun training in Aikido, a Japanese martial art focused on self-defense, harmony and peace. Bennington Police Chief Paul Doucette said the special response team members have attended several classes so far.
